Wamp Nga Fuel Distributors is one of the largest divisions of Wamp Nga Holdings.
Located at Dobel in Mt. Hagen, the Capital of Western Highlands Province, Wamp Nga Fuel Distributors is the main supplier of Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene in the 5 Highlands Provinces. Wamp Nga Fuel Distributors operates the largest Shell Agency in Papua New Guinea and has a reputation for being one of the best all round operating sites for Shell PNG / Solomon Islands.
OPERATIONS
Depot
12 main Service Stations located in the Highlands Provinces are supplied by WNFD. 4 other Shell Service Stations; Piunde (Chimbu Province) Goroka, Faniufa and Kainantu (Eastern Highlands Province) are directly supplied by Shell Terminal - Lae (Morobe Province) thru the dedicated Fuel Carriers for Shell – Petrohaul Ltd (another company owned by Wamp Nga Holdings).
Gas
WNFD is an agent for Origin Energy Ltd and sells LPG through 4 of its network sites in the Highlands Provinces.
Aviation
WNFD also operates the Shell Aviation Depot located at Kagamuga Airport, which supply Aviation Fuel to 99% of all aircrafts that pass through Kagamuga Airport.
Lubricants
WNFD supplies wholesale Shell Lubricants to 12 retail sites in Mt. Hagen and boasts substantial market share.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Wamp Nga Fuel Distributors passed their Audit with flying colours in 2001 and the Certificate of Excellence was awarded to WNFD Manager – Mr. Gerry D. Cabasug by the General Manager of Shell PNG/SI – Mr. Wayne Kingwill.
